The Minaret

John Dekker

Black Rock, Australia

Artist's Description

The Minaret is a wonderful stalagmite formation in the River Cave at Jenolan Caves, NSW, Australia, part of the Kanangra-Boyd National Park that abuts the Blue Mountains.
Taken hand-held with imperfect lighting, and rushed whilst on a tour, so it’s a little soft and far from perfect, but I quite like it nonetheless.
Captured with a Canon 5D, 17-40L at 28mm, ISO 800, f/4 and 1/80 sec. exposure.
