I am very impressed all round with this one, John. The overall composition is solid, serene, and elegant. Though the details are good, no single detail distracts the eye from the wholeness of the painting. I see you said somewhere that the way you feel on the day affects the style and treatment of a painting. Well, on that day you must have felt at peace with all of creation. That’s what the painting brings to me. Very fine work.

  • Thank you for your generous compliment Gregory !! I find painting from my imagination in my studio is a very relaxing and it so easy to paint what inspires me at that given moment with no restrictions other than my abilities and any lack of abilities i have to paint the scene i want to create i try my best and in the process i tend to learn much more.
