unconditional love is found
within the arms of such a hound
the one who looks into our soul
and somehow fills that empty hole

a love that fills our hearts with pleasure
one that never can be measured
one that never seems to judge
one that never holds a grudge

at first glance it seems as though
this life is simply full of woe
but looking upon such love as this
I know that much more can exist

there is a love for everyone
one that cannot be undone
no matter how, or when, or where
to know that someone’s always there

to take away the pain of living
never afraid of always giving
everything they have inside
a love which cannot be denied

Unconditional

There is nothing like the love of a child for a pet.

Aw, thanks! I guess you can understand the poem as you have such wonderful…(cough, cough) pups. So, is he getting that tummy rub yet or are we still waiting for hell to freeze over? ROFL

Hey Max, nice to see you. Thanks for stopping by and for such a nice compliment. I was inspired, what can I say. Although the original photo I saw that allowed me to write this was of a homeless man and his dog. But I believe it fits for this photo too.

It’s nice to be seen ;)
    The compliment was well deserved,
it never fails to amaze me how simplistic
things can engender the most beautiful expressions.
plus i’m a sucker for the friendship shared between
    man and beast!
