I am a mechanical engineer by education and profession working nearly 25 years in the machine tool industry. I got into the world of photography when my beautiful and dear wife surprised me with a camera one Christmas. She is by far the artist of the family, but it does give us a chance to do weekend shooting outings with our faithful companion, Bogie.

I find trying to get a bird taking off is hard….if you wait for them ready to shoot, they do nothing, but as soon as are not ready, they take off. I was very luck to get a picture the turn out okay. And yes, I also love the sound the their wings in flight. Thank you again for taking time looking at my humble works.
