This photo of an African Elephant feeding was taken in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia.
Looks like any elephant’s haven doesn’t it? Unfortunately with the unimaginable rate of deforestation and human encroachment, this may be one of a few havens left for the African Elephant. These threats along with the impacts of poaching and the obstruction of their ancient migratory routes, now makes the African Elephant a vulnerable species.
South Africa is also currently waging a war against the illegal poaching of rhino’s for their protein horns. The LEGEND RHINO ORPHANAGE is South Africa’s first not-for-profit specialist centre, dedicated to the care of baby rhino’s orphaned by poaching. Please help support this rhino orphanage and make a contribution today, in order to ensure a rhino’s tomorrow.
All profits made through these cards will go towards the rehabilitation and care of the young chimpanzee orphans at JACK. Further donations can be made by contacting Mr. Franck Chantereau (founder) at jack@lub.gbs.cd or visiting the (french) website at www.littlejak.fr
