Jason Chatfield is a freelance cartoonist based in Perth, Western Australia.
As a kid he would up at the crack of dawn to watch Saturday morning cartoons with a pad and pen in hand, glued to the TV as he learnt from the styles of John Kricfaluci (Ren & Stimpy) and all manners of Disney and Warner Brothers cartoons.
Eventually this seemingly time-wasting exercise payed off, and now it’s all he does!
Now 22, he works primarily as an editorial/political cartoonist for the Herald and Voice newspapers group producing editorial cartoons every week for the Perth Voice as well as Perth-Based website Loconut.com.au
Jason also works as a live caricaturist at corporate and private functions around Perth, and In the moments in between produces gift caricatures from photos for private and business clients. Click here to request a quote!
