The area here around Hilversum really is a cyclist´s paradise. So I do 98 per cent of my trips by bike. in the course of time you will see quite a number of paths. This one actually is not an official cycling path, but rather a small road, but its special atmosphere tempted me to share it with you today already, knowing that quite a few of you like my misty shots.
For those who might think we have mist here in the Netherlands all the time, let me tell you that we only have it on a few days, as there is far too much wind for mist on most days. But I have made mist photography my special hobby in the past years and must say that I enjoy it tremendously. So I try to go out whenever there is such a day. To be able to share some of this joy with you is a great boost for my photographic work!
Actually this is again a typical Sunday morning shot. While fewer and fewer people go to Church here at that time, more and more go out into nature, walking, cycling, horse-riding, boating … So if you want a really quiet nature world in this over-crowded country on a Sunday, be home on Sunday morning at 9 am at the latest. When these guys chased along me, it was already two hours beyond that safety date!
