My Sunday-morning bike trip to the ground of the country-house Groeneveld at Baarn was really most enjoyable. Here a second picture that I brought home with me. I am especially glad with this one, as it combines the beautiful light of this special morning together with a lovely little scene.
I was just taking pictures of the lane, when the lady came from behind with her dog and asked whether it would disturb me if she walked on. No problem, I said, hoping for a nice scenic shot with her disappearing in the haze. Before she did so, however, she met the gentleman, perhaps a friend, and started to chat with him. This offered the splendid opportunity to take them like this together.
I leave it to your imagination how you will fill in the scene. You are free to invent a story about their morning chat. It did take a little while, so they obviously enjoyed exchanging some news or just their feelings about the beauty of this Sunday morning. Actually they both had a keen sense of the beauty of the spectacular light effects, as both told me so, the lady first, and later the gentleman when he had come up the lane towards me.
