When I walked through the forest here near Hilversum this morning, it was still wet from the rain of the night before. It is raining a lot here this month, a great nuisance for holiday-makers, but a boon for nature. After all May and June were very dry, and July is just pushing the balance up a little bit. And we do want this country to stay so green, do we not? So we have to pay a price!
