In spite of my early hopes in January, this year the path towards spring seems endless. A new spell of icy easterly winds has brought frost again, and even if we have no snow here, spring is still far away in the forest. Nature’s development is said to be two to three weeks later than “normal” this year, but what is normal after all. We do keep hoping … Perhaps after Easter … Winter cannot and will not last for ever!
