Beautiful colours…..There’s such a love-hate relationship with snow, in the Netherlands, from my perspective!

You are quite right, people here often prefer ice to snow. After all ice means skating on the canals and ice-rings, while snow is not much more than a nuisance in many parts of the country. Especially when it spoils the good ice!

Very pretty shot.

LOL. Could never get the proper hang of skating, neither in Gouda, nor later, on ice-rinks, in Sydney, in the 50s/60s. The skates always hurt so much!!
I’ll keep dreaming of a White Christmas, or even White Easter….........

The colours are wonderful.

I like it – the snow is almost an afterthought, and doesn’t distract from the colour of the rest of the image

Is everything in your world this breathtakingly beautiful?

Many thanks for all your wonderful comments! Very heart-warming. As to beauty, you have to find it in its places. There is a lot of ugliness here too, as is everywhere, but why concentrate on that?

I’m very much going to enjoy watching your work.
