Going to laneland again
Alas we did not get the mist this morning that I had hoped for yesterday evening, but the weather was good enough to take the bike and cycle to laneland again. Better than sitting at home in front of the computer.
Even though the lanes are pretty bare here at the moment, they still show a specific colour spectrum which makes them attractive I find. The last brown leaves of the beech trees give an extra touch of colour.
Taken near Maartensdijk/The Netherlands. I actually for the first time took my new monopod along and am very satisfied with the results.

Hello Jürgen – I followed your link from DA to your new “home”, and it’s good to see that you’re going on strong. I miss you at DA, and I find RedBubble a bit confusing, but I guess i’ll learn along the way.
I have joined RedBubble as XXLARS (xx-large..pun intended. Suits my size!) mostly because I was curious, but I think It’s gonna take a while before I upload anything. At the moment I’m here to watch and learn – that’s how I started at DA.
I can’t find a feature similar to DA’s “add as favourite”. Is it possible to fave pictures here?
I surely would like to start a new collection – the skill of the artists here is just amazing.
I’m wishing you the best of luck here at RedBubble, and I’m going to visit you frequently – You’re still my favorite photographer and your work is still my best cure for my depressive periods.
Best wishes
MrLalle and now XXLARS

Hi,
This does look very nice, to say it myself. How do you do that? You see, I am still a reasonably new redbubbler, so I still have to learn a lot.
Many thanks in advance,
Juergen

The lane continues for about 2 km, so it is a really very nice long lane. After that comes the village of Bilthoven.
Not to forget: many, many thanks for all your lovely comments.

I have tried to capture images similar to this using the same equipment with very poor or almost average results. But you nailed it… You are truly inspirational!

So you should be Juergen (satisfied). Had a great conversation this afternoon, at Sydney airport, with a family friend, returning to Loosduinen. Mentioned you, when the topic of de Hooge Veluwe came up. Small world! (The topic was the beautiful area where you’ve been photgraphing and other parts of the country, where it’s densely populated.)

Actually I should go to the Hooge Veluwe again one of these days! It is ages ago that I went there the last time! You see, most of the time I am just cycling around a bit here near Hilversum in “Het Gooi”. But that is ok as long as you like my pictures, is it not?

It is like the light at the end of the tunnel … you can see the bright light at the end of road. Perfect! I love how the golden leaves make an archway to travel through. I just simply adore this place.

Love the way the mist softens the path and environment surrounding it!
