Just another beech-tree lane in mid-October
This morning´s sunshine tempted me to go out again, this time to ’s-Graveland, just a few miles from Hilversum, a village with a number of lovely country-houses and beautiful grounds. One of them is Boekesteijn. Its long lane is partly oak-tree, partly beech-tree.
I must admit that I prefer the beech-tree part, as the beech-trees here are just more majestic. At the moment these trees still show a green foliage. Just a few dry leaves on the ground show, however, that autumn is on its way.

Heel mooi Juergen… en voor mij ook een bekende omgeving. Inderdaad om deze bomen in ‘herfst tooi’ te zien moeten we nog even geduld hebben. Hoewel deze kleuren en lage schaduwen ook prachtig zijn!
