Jurgen this tree is …..
It ….

There in the woods midst the tall straight pines
creating an island of space
stands the sprawling form of the giant yew [? elm? oak?]
demanding yield to it’s grace

For centuries now it has stood it’s ground
and awed whoever came near
Finally man has seen the value
and the axe it never will fear

Look up into the entwined boughs
shelter neath magnificent canopy
take note of the seasons it indicates
and you shall find harmony!
