It does give it that ominous feel! Great shot Jeff!

Long exposures can give you that effect sometime.
The tree’s were barely blowing but with a 15 second exposure you get a blur.
Believe it or not the water was very calm.
There was no storm coming the picture just came out like there was a storm coming.

Very stirring, very striking photgraph. You caught all the weather in your blackened sky. But it’s like Pompeii. Something happened so fast that it was over a second later and nobody lived through it, frozen time. The whistling tree in such a swoop on the right, but nothing else touched, not even the reflection. Maybe a gathering of spirits landed. Or something other terrestreal. Time standing still.
