Great image Jeff – its also quite spooky as I uploaded a tree shot on another site called Ephotozine ages ago and called it ‘If only they could talk’ (as in that some trees are so old that if they could see and talk, they could tell us so much about our history).

I used an infrared lens filter this is basically the exact way it came out of the camera I did a small contrast adjustment. I kept the camera on color when using the lens. Actually set the camera to Vivid colors.

thank you i liked it too i did it with not the best camera too i took 3 photo,s of this and this was the keeper when i hit it rich i,ll buy a goood darn brownie!! again i made one for the boy in the photo he did not know i had done it and he was sooo happy

All I can say is WOW!! How do you do it Jeff? I see your photos and realise I have soooo much to learn here…. how do you get those colours? Is it a special lens or a special affect on a computer program?.....

I use an infrared filter lens. For the most part this is exactly the way the image came out of my camera. A few contrast adjustments and I came out with this shot.

I use a hoya r72 infrared filter lens. It attaches right over my existing lens. Believe it or not there was no processing involved except a few contrast adjustments. The color is how my camera saw the shot through infrared lens in color. I love using that lens. It has produced some shots that have honestly floored me. Especially since there was nothing I did but snap the shot practically.

Beautiful work, in my opinion it is a little to bright but I’m not judging just think if you took the contrast down a bit it would be better! I believe in being honest with others not just saying what people want to hear I want to help and expect the same in return, constructive criticism id great we learn that way
