Death of the Antagonist

I will weave a world of words
and wrapped in it I’ll rest
I will write your ending
in the way that I see best
You will not consume me
Rather, I will consume you
You are nothing
nothing
nothing
Don’t make me nothing too.

I’ll create a new life
and you won’t matter there
Erase all the dark places
that once filled me with despair
I’ll decide my story
It unfolds as only I see fit
and finally I’ve decided
that I will write you out of it.

i just love every bit of this, my favorite is the very end…

such confidence, it conveys so wonderfully…Enough is enough and goodbye!
    love it~*

Thanks Amy! The ending is my favorite too. In fact, I started out writing this with the ending in my mind, and worked up to it… yes exactly, enough is enough! I think sometimes we hold on to things because we WANT to, because we WANT to suffer. Hard to explain what I mean by that, I might just be crazy! ;) But thanks for reading it!

Fantastic! It’s like you’ve seen right inside of my past and figured out a way to put it into words! I love the way ‘nothing’ seems to echo through the first stanza….I’ll say it again, fantastic! I’m favoriting this one!

  • Jboo09 replied

Thank you so much! I’m thrilled you like it and can relate. Isn’t it a wonderful feeling, to see yourself in someone else’s work? Personally, it amazes me everytime, and helps me to not feel alone with my pain. We may be different, but yet still so alike :)
