OMG it’s July already! You would think not having to go to work each and every day would give you lots of spare time, well that’s what I thought for the months leading up to my retrenchment anyway. Obviously I was wrong, don’t know why, just know I was…
Well I promised myself that if I couldn’t find the time or inspiration to do a weekly Pay it Forward Artist of the Week, then I’d at least take the time to do one on a monthly basis.
Well this month I didn’t need to look for inspiration, it just jumped out at me, while I was reading through one of the many journals written by
Darren Stones for the
Australian Travel Photography and Writing group. As always, Darren being the ever passionate man about anything he sinks his teeth into, gave me the inspiration to choose yet another ever passionate man
Tony Middleton. I have been watching Tony’s work for some time now and never tire of the obvious passion and enjoyment Tony gets from his time with Mother Nature, be it along some piece of wonderful Australian coastline or in the Wonderment of Magical Mountains and Rainforests. Tony seems to find a way to bring the magic through the camera lens giving us a sense of being there with him.
I also noticed that Tony along with myself has concerns as to the effects of short sighted politically driven decisions can and will have on our environments.
Please visit
Tony Middleton and enjoy the different wonders of the Australian Landscape through his eyes.

Gone on a few shoots with Tone now he is an amazing talent. More amazing for the fact that he generally doesn’t post his best work which he is saving up for limited release runs when he opens up his own gallery and the quality of those 617 trannies… wow.

Now that would make a great day, on a shoot with You and Tony, there would definitely be a queue for that one…:D

Thanks for the plug, John.
Yes, Tony’s work is brilliant and an absolute pleasure to view. A master.
Cheers.
John McNair:
Great group, Darren and it’s always good to see someone believing in something they do. Keep it up. :D
