Meditation

i am on the
outer reaches
of consciousness

counting my breath

in

and

out

escaping my
mundane past
a slave set free
from his chains

i am released

aknowledging my former self
accepting my failures
exchanging anger for
compassion and finding
the strength to continue

my learning journey

Having practised the standing meditation of Chi Gung for awhile now, a way to cleanse the mind and feel less burdened with lifes sometimes chaotic nature_ This prose reminds me of that, and how I feel after opening my eyes and letting go of all the information vying for attention. Good writing Denis.

  • Thank you Alix. So glad that it rings a bell with you. Love and peace for 2010.
