An expressionistic, exploratory artist, I create without restraint or intent. I am a passionate advocate of natural learning, and this organic approach informs all of my work, giving my creations their vibrancy and spontaneity. An abiding love of nature keeps me going when my rather warped sense of humour fails. Above all, I reject the dysfunction and pain our culture perpetuates. More of the same is of no interest to me. I say “YES” to that which is life-serving: let a new paradigm emerge!

Ohhh jay.. I have not had the time to shoot!!! soon will try to catch up and I LOVE THIS!

  • LOL – not to worry, Lina: very few of us seem to have managed to keep up the every-day-thing. I’m a bit concerned about myself, really – am I becoming over-discliplined? ;o) Hahaha …

Anyway, thank you for loving it: this was a really fun moment in time, and I’m happy to have captured a little slice of it on camera :o) xx Jay

Great angle and stunning treatment…all that brass – hard to get right! Congrats on keeping up with your 365!

  • Thank you, Margot – good to hear from you :o) and I appreciate your appreciation :o) I was really pleased with the elements you mention here, and I’m not sure I would have figured out these post-editing techniques without the inspiration of the 365 Day Project – I am finding it a very inspiring challenge :0)

i love the pygmie on the right hand bottom corner!

  • LOL – me too, Donna. I did some serious ‘tilt-shift’ type stuff on this one to get that effect, but it was the priceless look on his face that inspired me to go to the bother of learning how to do it ;o)

beautiful reflections .. when I do the same thing with a 3d model causes no small amount of angst that you got it in reality is so fabulous

  • I’m glad that you like it, mxsara – pure chance that I happened to be there with the camera and the lighting was so perfect: no angst, I’m happy to report! ;o)
