In June 2011 some friends and I embarked upon a year-long assignment to take and upload one shot a day, every day, to facebook. You can view my 365 Day Portfolio as it evolves on the photography pages of my website at

365 Day Project: Day 19: June 26th 2011: ‘Freddie-on-Thames’

dog, owner, lab, labrador, black, candid, canine, water, river, thames, england, uk, britain, british, yellow, nails, nail varnish, red, woman, lady, people, human

An expressionistic, exploratory artist, I create without restraint or intent. I am a passionate advocate of natural learning, and this organic approach informs all of my work, giving my creations their vibrancy and spontaneity. An abiding love of nature keeps me going when my rather warped sense of humour fails. Above all, I reject the dysfunction and pain our culture perpetuates. More of the same is of no interest to me. I say “YES” to that which is life-serving: let a new paradigm emerge!

That is such a great title! (Probably lost on people who arnt familiar with place names in the UK…)
The look on the dog’s face and the eyes are priceless. Is it your dog?

  • Thank you :o) Isn’t he great – so intent! The epitome of focussed-ness :o) No, Freddie isn’t mine: I’m currently making the most of enjoying other peoples’ animal companions, having none of my own save for the wild things around me…and those that I carry in my heart :o) x Jay
