“How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? … First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye.”

An expressionistic, exploratory artist, I create without restraint or intent. I am a passionate advocate of natural learning, and this organic approach informs all of my work, giving my creations their vibrancy and spontaneity. An abiding love of nature keeps me going when my rather warped sense of humour fails. Above all, I reject the dysfunction and pain our culture perpetuates. More of the same is of no interest to me. I say “YES” to that which is life-serving: let a new paradigm emerge!

“If thine eye offends thee, then pluck it out.” I heard or saw that somewhere sounds biblical, so I won’t be plucking my eye out…… your artwork is a visual delight although most of it is above my level of comprehension. Your art and words are skillfully crafted into a powerful symbolism that I think we can all relate to on various levels of our consciousness or unconsciousness…..
fantastic, great colours and textures
Lovely stuff jay
the words and the art are so in sync. really great work Jay
Love the colors, design, and the fractal “pull-apart pattern” on the right side.
