This one looks like a cartoon face with wild hair and spectacles to me – and then there’s those blues…!

(He’ll begone by now, I’m sure: the diggers were already hovering when I photographed him at what remained of Cherwell Service Station – which had recently burned to the ground – in June 2010)

An expressionistic, exploratory artist, I create without restraint or intent. I am a passionate advocate of natural learning, and this organic approach informs all of my work, giving my creations their vibrancy and spontaneity. An abiding love of nature keeps me going when my rather warped sense of humour fails. Above all, I reject the dysfunction and pain our culture perpetuates. More of the same is of no interest to me. I say “YES” to that which is life-serving: let a new paradigm emerge!

really nice ab photo…must be from a wall….I can’t remember his name but there is a photographer in Ca. that makes a darn good living from shooting interiors of old homes, peeling paint, and just what you have captured….

  • Hi hastypudding – glad you like it :-) It’s actually a shot of a section of a floor: it used to be part of a circle of telephone kiosks before the service station burned down…

I’d so love to make a darn good living out of my work:whoever the guy from Ca. is, I bet his marketing strategy does not include time putting stuff on redbubble, LOL – so for now the abject poverty goes on…either until I figure out a place where things sell, or my ultra-supportive family sends me back out to get a day job !!!! :-) Jay
