Inspired by nature’s interaction with the man-made world…? I certainly am!

Natural light on leaves as seen through a textured window, Berkshire, UK – just an ordinary, everyday window in a very public place, seen countless times a day by passers-by…I wonder how many of them stop and take the time to appreciate its beauty and the ethereal play of light which it creates?

An expressionistic, exploratory artist, I create without restraint or intent. I am a passionate advocate of natural learning, and this organic approach informs all of my work, giving my creations their vibrancy and spontaneity. An abiding love of nature keeps me going when my rather warped sense of humour fails. Above all, I reject the dysfunction and pain our culture perpetuates. More of the same is of no interest to me. I say “YES” to that which is life-serving: let a new paradigm emerge!

Very nice catch! It takes a true artist to see the beauty in the most mundane things. The colours are so soothing……..

  • Thank you, triciamary – I am really pleased that I managed to capture and convey the beauty in this magically mundane moment, both for myself and others: that’s what I enjoy the most :-) – Jay
