Through the Vineyards by Jay Taylor

My favourite Anglo-German Alliance passing through the vineyards and orchards of Obersasbach, Schwarzwald, Deutschland (Black Forest, Germany)…

…we had awoken early especially to see the dawn light, which but had been walking through woodland for about an hour…

by the time we burst out into onto this open road daylight was in full swing, the morning mist had lifted, and my little daughter was full of exuberance after the quiet, eerie dawn-in-the-forest experience…what a beautiful autumn morning – well worth getting out of bed early for!

An expressionistic, exploratory artist, I create without restraint or intent. I am a passionate advocate of natural learning, and this organic approach informs all of my work, giving my creations their vibrancy and spontaneity. An abiding love of nature keeps me going when my rather warped sense of humour fails. Above all, I reject the dysfunction and pain our culture perpetuates. More of the same is of no interest to me. I say “YES” to that which is life-serving: let a new paradigm emerge!

I visited Erbach, Riningen, Munchen and some other places. I love Germany! Much like Connecticut where I grew up. Beautiful! Cheers, J

  • Germany is lovely, I agree – and I found Connecticut very beautiful when I visited it in the autumn of 2004. Gorgeous! Both have lots of trees, of course, which is always a good place to start :o)
