In response to redbubble’s ‘create-a-free-mini-portfolio’ voucher offer, I spent several days recently wrestling with Blurb’s ‘BookSmart’ software in order to create a collection of my original artwork for publication both as a hard copy (i.e. professionally printed) book and an eBook:
In an experience far too reminiscent of my pre-Mac days, I managed somehow to make my way through BookSmart’s frequent crashes and freezing in order to bring you ‘Art for a New Paradigm’, a sumptuous, full-colour feast featuring 42 pages of my most popular original artworks. I hope you’ll agree that it was well worth the effort in order to see my brush babies gathered to form their very own publication!
There’s a preview to virtually leaf through on the Blurb website for those of you who would like to share my joy in seeing my first ever book published, and should you feel motivated to purchase a copy for yourself, you can do so whilst basking in the knowledge that Blurb will print it ‘on demand’ – so no paper waste whatsoever will ever be generated in its printing. How cool is that?!
