STOCK-Fox in Snow
We had our first real snow of the season last night, so I was more than ready to head out to my favorite fox location early this morning.. The foxes were a little more subdued today and harder to find (but easier to track). This male was reluctant to leave cover for a cleaner shot, but he still looks great against the snow.

I get to spend enough time with them (about half a dozen) that I can tell individuals, genders, and their relationship with each other (who are the alpha male & female, the betas, etc. they’re fascinating little animals.

Wonderful shot! We’re in Northglenn, and back up to a huge park, so we get foxes in our backyard sometimes! So they’re in Wheatridge too, eh? Nice!
