Marmot Close-Up
It was a good day on Mt Evans today, with a remarkably cooperative marmot subject. He groomed himself for several minutes and allowed me to photograph the entire process (now that I say that, I’m feeling a little voyeuristic, and wondering if the marmot wasn’t a little exhibitionistic).
Here’s the first in the series.

Oh Jay! How sweet! One of my cousins, for sure! Yep, we share the same nose and dainty ears! We do scrub up well don’t we?! :o) No, though, we are not exhibitionists! ;o)

I beg to differ – this was quite the graphic cleaning. You should collectively be ashamed!

A precious subject. He seems to enjoy the notoriety. :) This goes immediately into my collection of favorites. Wonderful work. I hope that you enjoy viewing my portfolio as much as I enjoyed viewing yours.
