Wonder if these ducks are mindful of the rules for launching at Lake Tomahawk in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Canon 50-D, 18-135mm lens at 31mm focal length, available late afternoon daylight. 1/200th sec at f/10 as metered by the camera. I used the RAW data.

    This is a great shot that tells an interesting story-ie the ducks getting ready to launch themselves into the lake. Tomahawk is a lovely lake for both walking and photographing. I like the way you have captured the distant mountains too.
