The peaches are beautiful and so fresh and delicious.
The peaches had been off the tree for only a few hours when I shot this picture. To accommodate the shoot, the grower let a couple of trees go past “mature” when they’re normally picked, so they’d be truly ripe. Even so, the shot was heavily airbrushed before it was used. This is the “before” version. -J:

well taken LIZ
Thank you for the kind words. My favorite part is the baskets. I rounded them up from several peach growers for the shot. -J:

Oh no, such a wonderful bunch of peaches!! I want them all, I want them all, and I want them now!! du du du
I ate almost all of those peaches, and they were the best I’ve ever had. I’m sure the reason was that they ripened on the actual tree and slept in the peach field the night before. -J:

This is awesome, to set up a display like this is an artform in itself let alone try and photo graph it!! Well done
Thank you. It took a while, but before I started I had a vision in mind for how I wanted the finished picture to look. Just had to work out issues with the background – I wanted only peaches and baskets showing and didn’t have many baskets. Also had to work around the inevitable problem spots on the baskets – some could face only one direction or had to have stuff covering up their blemishes. The agency did a little airbrushing on the finished image, but this is the unretouched original. -J:
