Coffeehouse Counter

Inside view of the coffee counter in Wired & Fired on East Bay Street in Charleston, South Carolina. This cool place served coffee and espresso and such while you painted pottery greenware that they then fired for you. Or you could just drink coffee and nevermind the pottery. This image was included (in B&W) in my 2002 book on the coffeehouses of downtown Charleston: “Coffee Experience: Charleston, South Carolina.” Canon T-70, available light mostly from the huge front windows at camera left.
