The Ethereal Beauty of Smoke

A collection of my favourite smoke photos.

Photo of smoke taken with Nikon D300, Off-camera Nikon SB900 Speedlight, Incense, black background, and lots of patience. All shots were taken manually without the use of a tripod.

No destructive editing was involved. The shape of the smoke is exactly how it was captured on camera. The only editing I did with Photoshop was adjusting contrast, adding colours and getting rid of blemishes around the smoke.
