Those wolves at Omega Park are really something else!!! Always glad to see a post from there!!!! Loraine
Of course you know this means a future calendar in the making :-))))
Ha! I knew it…and it will be awesome!!! Wolves…I saw a recent photo of four of you at Omega Park, “Pierre, Mike, John, You, and Yan” Your camera equipment is Astronomical :-) and it’s no wonder you get the captures that perhaps my Nikon D90 would not find!!!
The D90 is an excellent camera, but a lot has to do with the lens you are using. The one shown is my big lens but I have found the 70-300mm works amazingly for the price range. A little more expensive is the 300mm F4. But the shots that come out of the lens are phenomenal. The 300F4 has the added bonus to be able to add teleconverters to give you more reach,
My girlfriend Tracey (destined2see here on RB) uses my 70-300 and she gets fabulous shots
I will keep this info…When I bought my D90 recently…I was able to purchase the 55-300mm at a very low price in a bundle package deal I got on Mother’s day weekend! But yes, I do want to eventually get a lens where I can add another lens too…With all that weight, I must continue my workout and Yoga forever :-) Thank you Mike for the info!!!! Lorraine
You are so right… Nothing better than puppies, especially furry sleepy wolf ones! I just adore your wolf pictures. Never seen one up close. Seen them in the distance of Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. Even as dots on the horizon was exciting. Can just image the thrill of looking into their eyes… Are your shots from Park Omega? Think I need to visit there sometime when there’s snow on the ground. Are there other places around Quebec to see wolves?–Sylvia
