Michael, sometimes that ‘playing’ seems a little rough but wolves really are family orientated and the one on the bottom is saying,“get out of my face.” LOL A great capture. Instant FAV. Barb

  • Very true. It was very cool watching these big puppies playing around, sometimes 4 and 5 in a group rough housing,

Wow! this is just great! Look at their face, teeth and tongue! A great alpha moment amongst the clan :)

  • Thank you Yannik. I was very cool watching their activity that day

Wolves are truly my favorite. I envy your chance to capture these brilliant beasts as such Michael! Always a fave because I am going to live vicariously through you darlin!

  • I could spend all day with these beautiful creatures. My problem is I might forget they are not just big dogs

Wonderful capture, Michael! Just like my grandson and granddaughter when they get on each other’s nerves.

  • Kids will be kids, no matter what species

No question which is the alpha dog here. Great shot ;>

  • Good thing they are more bark than bite. Not a set of teeth I would like to see that close

A spectacular catch, Michael. The one underneath is in the submissive posture having decided that it was not prudent to fool with the Alpha. Good plan – ensures that the next moves will be peaceful ones. Were these male or female? How old, do you think? This is just fantastic work. Right up there in the top echelons of wildlife photography!
