I took this photo of a lilly and realised, as nice as it was, it was just like the 1001 other lilly photos out there, so I decided to try something a little different… hope u like it!

thanks, i did quite like it without it also, but it just looked so cliche i HAD to do something… personly i like both… but of course i do, im the artist haha… but thanks for ur idea!!! ^_

I just lookeda t what I wrote again ….. grrr I meant to write TONAL values of course…. and even if there are a million and one other pictures of lilys like this it dosen’t mean they are all good…. yours does however have potential…...:)

There’s nothing I like more than being in a garden in spring!!
Everytime I go into my or someone elses beautiful garden I want to capture photographs of the wonder and beauty I feel, smell and see. But then I put them on my computer and they look like all the other thousands of photographs of flowers that are everywhere and I completely lose the enthusiasm.
I’m with you … I need something different, something unique now. You’ve definitely managed to do that though with your work.

Now I’d tell you if I liked this photograph if I actually could see it? The photo’s dissappeared and instead Mr red X has taken a seat in the corner. Perhaps it needs to be re-uploaded?
