thanks heaps, yer there my mothers, she has heaps… though there all at our other house now so i dont see them much… but i find them fun to photograp ^_ well, glad u like it!

G’day Jay,
You have a good eye for composition and you use depth of field very well.
With this very different still life you also show a lot of creativity.
I do feel though that you have made your framing/cropping much too tight on our left and at the top. Remember that you or a customer may wish to frame a print of this and when the matt is laid over the print it will be lying over part of the cup handle and be very close to the top glass beads.
The lighting is very subtle and your exposure has handled the white highlights well and your focus renders nice sharp detail in the cup and close beads.
As mentioned by thickblackout, I too find the combination of colours works extremely well.
The contrast has been well controlled and there are very pleasing tones across the scene.
