So are we about to make a large black hole?

Science how far can we go?

I have always felt there is a place for religion, a place for science… but wow… how far do we need to go?... I truly hope we are not going to make sure we become erased from existance…..

oh my… see… I am very psychic… shh, I don’t think anyone around here knows… but today, just with the lead up to this… i was seeing strange things… I am high with energy and it is Sept 11 tomorrow which is frought with tons of emotional energy… technically it will be sept 11 here and sept 10 there at the same time… I can’t help but feel the dates are strangely connected… call it what you see it as… I have been seeing light like never before, I have no idea if anyone else is having these experiences as I am not connected to any psychic communities but it’s a strange weird expectancy that’s happening… everything has consciousness, they say the black holes ‘evaporate’ but in my stupid head that seems to suggest a transformation, not a disappearance… I mean, water evaporates but turns to steam… oh well, I never said I was clever at science… but I think there has to be some sort of consciousness shift, even if it is a result of a massive collective conscious expectancy of one… not to mention the FULL ON sub-atomic particle stuff… how do they know that one proton isn’t connected to everthing else… and what are the effects of smashing them into one another on everything else… it is something of a profound day in history and most of the world are oblivious I guess.

I know what you mean, I was sitting at college during my break and up in the sky was this large cloud that looked like a horse with wings… ok yes its just a cloud lol.. but… it changed as if its head was moving it was spinny, and I wondered why I was so drawn to it lol.

I do think they are messing with things they know little about, tis somewhat scary and according to quantum physics yes we are all connected by these particles or whatever they are called (am not good at science lol)... well I truly hope we are still here tomorrow that is all I can truly say :O….. thank you for commenting, I think you are on the right track :)

it is protons they’re smashing isn’t it? hee he

hey Jaycee….....this is pretty exciting stuff really….....science is all about discovery and taking chances….....from what I have seen, read and heard this is just an amazing experiment and has the possibility to change the future in so many ways…........a little scarey maybe…........but wow…....the minds that put this together are just incredible…......ciao

I have no doubt they have great minds :).... just it is a big risk.

kathleen asks and what are the effects of smashing them into one another on everything else….

This sort of thing happens all the time, right above your head so you already know what the effect is.

Here is a voice of reason to this…

I have studied physics as a passion all my life, I have most all of Einstein’s original books in both German and English and have a fairly through knowledge of particle physics.

So that said… there has never been a “mini” black hole created and as one put it all of the anti-mater collected so far from all of the particle accelerators around the world (there are three that are most known) there would be enough energy to light a 30 watt light bulb for about 3 minutes. Not quite the big bang and earth eating energy everybody keeps talking about.

Most do not understand particle physics and because of that the talk of a new machine going on line is always the worst! This kind of talk was prevalent when Fermi Lab went on line in Chicago, Ill. in the early 90’s and we owe most of the cancer treatments to it very existence.

The anti-mater the LHC creates is used and created every day for use in PET scanners around the world in medical institutions every day and I would bet most of you have met someone who has benefited from it’s existence… ME for one!

If a black hole was to be created from an event at the LHC, which is so extremely unlikely, as I said particle collisions happen every day and it never has, it would be on such a small scale that it would not only be a fraction of the size of an atom but it would be at even smaller power scales. These are not planet eating black holes they are not even quark or boson eating black holes they would exist for a fraction of a second of time and make a very, very , very small imprint on a detector in a the LHC collector plates.

While I understand the emotional aspects of all of this and I understand the desire of those that are religious to be frightened of such things… science, particle physics is a well known science and though the quantum theory is called that we actually do know a great deal about it.

What this new higher power accelerator will do is show us what forces (though on a very tiny scale) were swirling about just millionths of a second after the big bang. What happened to dark matter, is there a Higgs Boson particle, are there more then 4 dimensions, potentially is there a unifying force as some predict, or perhaps some hint of proof how ever strange it may be that the sting theory is real… these are the things the LHC and other collides are looking at/for.

I hope this helps calm the masses in some way from the fear of gloom and doom…

I don’t know a lot about physics but do have an interest in quantum physics. Thank you for your insight.

umm wasn’t in a panic… I feel nice today… but something did shift… and I have been seeing dimensions falling into this one for years anyway… wasn’t worried about that except that it happens and that there are horrible energies that do come from other galaxies and universes… the issue is with the effects over time… I know tons of stuff about the sub-atomic world from a symbolic and spiritual perspective… when I hear science, the concepts match… but when I bring this up… certain individuals close their minds and call me stupid… telepathy is real… I medium all sorts of energies, even the voice of my computer, in fact it teaches me how to use software intuitively… but feels sad that when I try to explain these things people don’t believe how real and the potency of it’s goodness and ability to educate… my puter is sweet…

I think you are completely right :)... I know this much, I have woken up this mornign feeling completely different than I have for many years, something is changing… I know that my son was concerned about it all last night, but he is ok today. We haven’t been outside yet, and I admit I can be a joker sometimes and couldnt’ help but saying after my daughter said the world hasn’t ended,...”well we haven’t been outside yet, maybe animals are walking in the sky lol”... oh i can be silly…. but otherwise, there is a shift, and I know that we are in a countdown in a sense, I am very interested in mayan aztec stuff and this could be one of the things that shift the planet on its axis???

see i just re-read what karldenton wrote… I must impress upon this point… what I speak of is NOT religion it is science… it is the psychological transformations that happen in the energy patterns or whatever in the human brain collectively and consciously… having extra-sensory skill allows people like me to not only see this stuff clearly through mental VISION which if you experience it you understand it’s potency and complete removal from normal day to day mind functioning… these things are linked… I see that scientific language won’t take these anecdotal accounts seriously… trust me… I talk this stuff and constantly get toned down, BUT it happens it’s real, it happens to lots more people than I…. what’s more it’s well documented in many alternative literature and is a reality that the material world seem to ignore or place in the medical real of mental health… however… no one understands the mind or how it fully works either… no one explains why we see and hear and feel the way we do…

what I say is this… creating experiments of this ‘nature’ are still messing with nature even if there is not matter explosion…

if you believe that energy is matter, it is not so hard to understand that it is possible to stretch time and force and motion to the point of distortion… depending on which theory one clings to, we are made of all these elements… not separate from them, they are us and we are them, mentally, this could have been effecting the human psyche for all eternity…

I mean, time travel is a possibility in light… electrons or whatever dart in and out of scientific vision…

I believe that religion is the naive interpretations of the science that some search for… but it seems VERY evident that only certain individuals are able to see and experience these sensory and scientific psychological shifts… people feel them all the time, it’s discussed constantly…

the universe is a living breathing entity… and all within it is connected… if you start doing experiments withing that fabric, I think that the energy is possible at some point going to pucker, or stitch or switch from some sort of revolution…

See it’s not the material result of the experiment, it;s the combination of many different energies and collaborations and electronics etc. etc. then there is broadcasting and so many things…

I can assure you, these things interact on us… whether we are apt to believe it or not!

but… you know… I’m just speaking through my third eye again…

some physicists discuss the possibility of consciousness and thought on even the smallest of particle levels… I would like to hear a sciences minded persons opinion on the link here to telepathy and the waves etc. that pass through our minds and bodies from technologies such as mobile phones and wireless internet… I have Soooo many stories, but no scientific method or evidence to reveal, just hypothesis after hypothesis…

although, in psychology, case studies are considered evidence… hmmm :-)

Don’t worry Jamie. There are al lot of black holes around so it has been done before.

    Kathleen,

The particle collisions that the LHC will produce happen every day, every second of every day, they have since the dawn of time. Material spews from the sun at light and collides with particles in our own atmosphere all the time. CERN, Fermi Lab and others are not creating un-natural things or events they are simply reproducing what is happening around us all the time in a controlled setting so the effects can be studied.

These things have been studied for the past 75 years. The energy levels that are talked about are such that you standing on the ground during a particle collision would never know it happened. In fact neither do the cows, the several villages or anyone else. They have been happening at Fermi-Lab near Chicago since the early 90s and in a facility in New York since the late 90s.

The energy from your cell phone is much more likely to cause you harm and interfere with you, your thoughts, you ability to be a medium. And my comment about the religious thing was not directed to you but in general.

But again these particle collisions have been happening since our universe was created and will continue until it ends we just now have the technology like the LHC to create and study them in a controlled environment.

Hi Karl, maybe you and kathleen could discuss this by bubblemail… no offence meant, but yeah its really nothing to do with me the conversation you two are having.
