I put one of my artworks into one of the groups and found it interesting that it was rejected, which I don’t mind so much its the comment of changing the artwork accordingly that I find amusing lol….
Group submission not accepted
“A dream of heaven (1)” was not accepted into the ☮Peace☮ group about 2 hours ago. The reason was: “We think it isn’t in line with one or more of the group guidelines. If you’re able to make changes to your work so it meets these guidelines, we’ll be happy for you to resubmit the work for consideration.”
Hahhah, definately comes under controlling art lol.

Indeed MMM…Try to put it into one where the “guidelines” are a little more gray… Fuzzy guidelines are interesting. It shows whether the moderators are flexible or not. If so, keep posting to the group….......

Yeah I think i will… I don’t like strict guidelines it doesn’t give enough space for artistic licence if you ask me.

That’s a standard response, I’ve had a few of those, generally I don’t bother with groups who reject something for no good reason. On the other hand, try reading their guidelines, sometimes it may just be that you have entered more than the quota of images for that day, or some other simple rule.

Yeah, no its definately wrong for the group, its not too many pics as it was my first time putting on in there. That is ok, just didnt’ like the statement :)... art has no rules :)

One thing we learn at college is that there is one rule with art, that is there is no rules lol…. yeah I know about guidelines, hence why i am not upset that they didn’t accept it, just find the whole change your artwork to fit thing funny.

LOL!!! Oh, Yeahhhhhhhhhhh. The rulebook is definitely out the window. But obviously the mod’s are strict on that particular group. I’ve had my share of rejections, too. I find they are good, so you know which groups to post to with border-line art… Obviously not the stricter ones!!!!! LOL & LMAO!!!!!!!!! Keep hangin in there though, tough it out and dont let the bastards get ya down
