Visions of Carcassonne
Visions of Carcassonne belongs to the following groups:
All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical and Live, Love, Dream:Meandering through medieval castle walls,
Breathing in a life I’d left behind,
Making pleasant conversation in pavement cafes.
Trying so desperately to clear my mind.
The surroundings so familiar,
a sense of deja vu.
A feeling so powerful…..
A feeling that I knew.
And suddenly I saw him,
an angel in human form.
A beautiful rainbow of light
in the middle of my emotional storm.
Music playing loudly,
crystal balls balanced on his head.
I lost the power of speech
as to a land of tranquility I was gently led.
He whispered words of wisdom,
always to remain inside.
He gave me strength to see visions
and courage to live my life with pride.
And still the memories are with me.
I see him as I did that very night.
I know that my life has a purpose.
I know that I’ll do what is right.
I believe that I took a special journey,
Follow the path…I will try.
I thank him for giving me the gift of peace,
the gift of love and the reason why.
