What kind of Iris? I have never seen anything like this before. Cool shot!
These are the seeds of Iris pseudacorus, known in English as ‘Yellow iris’. I’d never seen them like this either, but once I noticed them they seem to be quite common here.
its a beauty
Thanks Hans! :)
The seeds remind of toffees …. boy what a fabulous macro shot … you sure have a great eye for detail..
You’re right, they are presented in a way that makes you want to take one and taste it. It’s funny how details like this always strike me 3 seconds after I saw them. When I’m out with my camera I’m always turning back, like, hey, what did I just see…?
