Paranormal Investigation

Paranormal Investigation belongs to the following groups:

*Paranormal The Norm* (*MUST* have description & *ONLY 2* per day

I thought I should explain about the investigations that I go on.

A group of friends would go out one night a week to places of interest locally (Bedford, Bucks, Hertfordshire area, UK)

I would research places, asylums, derelict buildings etc, and the group would meet up and drive to these places. We were always careful and mindful of doing everything safely, sometimes with a medium in tow if we held a seance.
I would always note conditions and during photographing no torches were allowed on, nor smoking.

My equipment consisted of a torch and my very good camera (Fuji FinePix) which although not the best camera would be willing to photograph a blackness and reveal the buildings and other surprises.

Usually, I would just photograph anywhere with no feeling for anything, various parts of buildings and windows, occasionally I would get a feeling of ‘something’ and snap the area, to reveal mist/objects or the debateful (new word!) orb.
Derelict properties fascinate me, but I am a coward and will often refuse to go in a dark empty place, or the group would get a fright and run in mass hysteria :)

Many times we have been so scared we have run to the car and been too scared to return, even though I tried to be logical.

I don’t go out so much now, the group separated and I only occasionally go out with others, which I enjoy, albeit in a trembling way!

The group have tried Ouija but it was quite distressing and we experienced unpleasantness at times, and vowed not to do it again; some of the group have had ongoing tragedies and mishaps and we feel it is something we should not have touched on. You learn what is good and what is not, and we are very respectful now of things out of our control.

I’m not certain what I believe in, the matter of orbs is one I am open to debate on, and will logically look at all conditions before I commit to saying it’s an orb.
Spiritual activity I try to reason, but I sometimes can’t find a scientific answer and admit something paranormal.

Having experienced things at home, and knowing there is someone here I do have a belief of some sort, but usually keep it to myself!

I enjoyed reading this too, with much interest. Having witnessed/experienced many things over the years, including having a conversation with some who have passed over…... I have to say that I do believe there is nothing to fear from those in the spirit world. The worst thing you can do is focus on fear itself or give credence to the idea of evil. Evil is a manmade concept and you wuold be more afraid of those living rather than those in spirit….lol!! In the past, friends have dabbled with ouija boards and where the intent is pure and good, there have been amazing results….but it only takes one person with something on their mind, or a patch of negative energy, to invite in more of the same….. or create an energy that can be quite heavy, threatening if not rather frightening to those others around.
I hope you surround yourself with protection and positive beliefs….. It seems you go out with good intent….. and that is important. I wish I could join you…..!

something else I have learned too, is that the more expensive the camera (and glass) the less likely it will be to pick up energy shifts or “orbs” or the presence of spiritual movement. It is those amazing little non-slrs that have the ability to do this with ease, and without argument. Which is why I really want another point and shoot…...!!!

well done you, to go when you are obviously afraid is very brave of you. You can usually tell if there is anything there because you feel so cold. hugsxxx
