Profile
I was a war baby, born in Dartford Kent, England in 1940; I have now retired from the rat race.
Having dabbled in art since my school days, using many different mediums I taught myself to become quite a proficient artist.
Between raising a family of 3 boys and working as a precision engineer for over 40 years, I gained great pleasure in producing pencil portraits for friends and family and the odd commission.
More recently I have turned my hand to drawing classic, vintage and modern cars, refining my technique to try and achieve the photo realism I believe is required to present the car in its true form.
I also specialise in the use of prismacolor pencils.
My efforts paid off when I was elected as an associate of the GUILD OF MOTORING ARTISTS.UK
My work and prints are sold in Motor Museums and shops and have been used by motoring magazines in the UK and the USA.
