Dusk at The Pinnacles #2

Jason Green

Croydon, Australia

Artist's Description

As the sun hovered above the horizon in that deep chasm between the two right-most pillars, it was practically impossible to get a usable exposure, even with all my filters on, and even after trying HDR for some shadow and highlight recovery in post-processing.
Once the sun had disappeared below the horizon, however, the landscape was very photogenic, with this warm, glowing sky setting the scene for my favourite location in Victoria: The Pinnacles at Cape Woolamai!
