As much as I would have loved to have explored the foggy dawn at Lake Eildon more, I had to get back home for a mid-morning appointment, and of course needed to allow more time than usual for the trip home because of the thick fog on the road…

…When I saw this view alongside the road, however, I had to send advance apologies for my tardiness at my upcoming appointment so that I could pull over, take out all the equipment again, and snap off a few more pics.

Coincidentally, I arrived home to find that my appointment had been cancelled on me, and although I regretted not getting to explore the dawn landscape more, I do acknowledge that I would not have seen this one if I hadn’t been coming back early!

    Love The Blue : )

  • Thanks! I normally try to maintain a warmer tone in my images, but for once I figured everybody else should experience the icy cold temperature that I endured to get this shot :)
