Morning at Sorrento Back Beach by

Despite the incoming tide as I was making my way back to the Sorrento Back Beach car park, I was able to wander around the base of the cliffs rather than up and over the hill. Along the way, I happened to find this colourful rock pool in a small cove that is usually inaccessible once the local sea level rises. The light on those rocks and the abundance of life in and around that rock pool were beckoning me to unpack all my equipment and take one last shot before heading home.

Beautiful shot Jason :-)) My Nan used to take me to this rockpool when I was a child, Once I was snorkling in there and saw a Blue Ringed Octapus…I never swam in there again LOL :-))

  • LOL… I actually spent hours wandering around looking through the various rock pools yesterday morning… there was one containing this vivid bright red starfish, but unfortunately my photo of it didn’t work out!
