One last shot of the Sphinx’s bum. This one was taken as sun itself actually started to appear above the top of the cliffs behind the Sphinx, casting a very warm glow on the surrounding rocks as it did so. I happened to be in just the right spot at just the right time to capture a photograph of my favourite rock pool featuring the reflection of the glowing rocks behind it.

For those who haven’t seen The Sphinx’s Bum #1 yet, this rock pool was found beneath the tail-end of Sphinx Rock at Sorrento Back Beach, hence it is the Sphinx’s bum grin

    Beautiful – - – love the colors!!!!

  • Thanks for another kind comment, lorilee… this particular rock pool was fantastic for capturing colours and textures, especially when the sun shone on that reflected rock in the top left corner!
