After leaving the Sphinx’s bum to explore the rocky outcrops of Sorrento Back Beach under that warm glow of a recently risen sun, I couldn’t help but return to shoot this same rock pool from a few different angles. As the sun continued its ascent above the clifftops behind me, the lighting and colours in the rock pool were constantly changing… I think I could’ve sat beside that rock pool, mesmerised, all day!
Coincindentally, if you haven’t seen The Sphinx’s Bum #1 yet, and are wondering about the strange title that I have given to this artwork… this rock pool was found under the tail end of Sphinx Rock, hence the title grin
