As I wandered back through the rocks towards the car well after the sun had set, I noticed the shimmering reflection of the bright moon on the water… as I marvelled at the moon’s reflection, this whole composition appeared to me right where I was standing. Despite being tired and starving, I just had to setup the tripod and camera again to get one last shot. I’m thankful that I did!
Coincidentally, I was surprised to see how quickly the tide was coming in at Tenby Point… when I started this exposure, the water was just starting to lap at those rocks in the foreground; when the exposure finished a couple of minutes later, the rocks were well and truly in the sea, and the water was starting to deepen around the feet of my tripod!
