As many times as I have made the trek out to The Pinnacles at Cape Woolamai, I have never bothered to take in the scenery that unfolds further along the coast past the famous rock formation. Being well ahead of time for sunset on this particular trip, I finally took a moment to consider the rest of the landscape through my viewfinder… and was glad I did when I saw this image upon returning home! Next time I go down there, I plan to go even earlier so that I can walk further along and explore the whole coast more fully…

One of my top favourite! Well done, Jason!

  • Thanks, Steffi… I’ll admit that I was in two minds about uploading this photo, as it just didn’t grab me in the same way as the others from this series did… so it’s great to hear that somebody else liked it so much! :)

    Wonderful and such rich color

  • Thank you, Ann… as previously written, I’m glad people like the colour in this one as I was a bit worried about going too far with the saturation.

In the monitoring I do, I see many who have gone overboard with the HDR. I agree it enhances a photograph, but I think there is a fine line and some don’t know when to stop.

  • So very true, Ann! I guess this one does still have some semblence of reality… ;)

This is beautiful. I love the color of the water here.

  • Thank you, Diana… I’ve also been loving the vivid colours that have shown up in my photography since investing in NDX400 and CPL filters recently!
