While walking back towards the car between Princes Bridge and the Swan Street Bridge, I happened to notice this tall, white statue standing on top of a mound between the various roads. Given its size and prominent location, I was surprised that I had never noticed it before. Anyway, not being in any rush to get home, I stopped to take a few snaps.
I’m so glad that I did… for so long I have observed other photographers publishing fantastic HDR photographs that have been ‘popped’ using Topaz Adjust, and have been jealous of my own inability to get that same effect using the same tools. Not this time, though… I like to think that this is one of those photographs for which the Photomatix Pro and Topaz Adjust team really worked!
For the technically minded: HDR generated from three exposures (+/-2ev) using Photomatix Pro and then corrected/enhanced using Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz Adjust.
